Immersion pre-treatment systems

A COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTION FOR COMPLEX COMPONENTS AND ALL METALS

Immersive pre-treatment systems serve as an alternative to spray pre-treatment systems. Their key strengths include:

  • Full coverage of internal surfaces – eliminating spray shadows
  • More effective pickling processes – components remain fully immersed
  • Versatility to process multiple substrates, including steel and aluminum, in a single system
  • Adjustable programs tailored for light to heavily soiled components
  • Integration of dip coatings, such as cathodic dip coating (CDC), anodic dip coating (ADC), or autodeposition methods
  • Low energy consumption

These systems ensure seamless integration into the overall production process, with automated transfer of hangers from the conveyor system.

Manual systems:

Manual immersive systems are ideal for small-scale operations. Using a compact crane, individual parts or baskets can be dipped from one bath to the next, with no limit on the number of steps involved.

System configurations:

In addition to classic linear configurations, we offer u-shaped and z-shaped layouts.
U-shaped systems typically feature two separate lines connected by transfer zones, while z-shaped systems consist of two or three parallel bath rows equipped with three-axis transfer units.
These configurations are highly compact, maximizing floor space efficiency.

Energy optimization:

Our immersive systems are engineered for maximum energy efficiency. High-performance pumps with frequency-controlled adjustments deliver power only when needed. The ventilation system ensures proper air exchange while recovering heat from exhaust air to minimize energy loss.

Circulation methods:

Circulation of the bath medium depends on the process and may involve:
– Air circulation using side-channel blowers
– Eductors to amplify pump flow
– Agitators for enhanced mixing

Lid systems:

Automatic lids, often overlooked during planning, are crucial for energy savings by reducing evaporation losses – similar to using a lid on a cooking pot.
We offer a variety of lid systems to meet your specific needs.

Air scrubbers:

Certain processes require air scrubbers to prevent aerosol emissions and protect the environment.
