Painting systemA painting system for drum lids has a very high throughput of surface area and thus solvents. The facility is located in a residential area. The existing system has thermal afterburning (TNV), but this consumes vast amounts of energy.Solution:A regenerative thermal oxidation system (RTO) was planned for the new system. The RTO is mostly autothermal and does not require additional fuel. The new system has a 90% reduced energy consumption.
