It is essential for ensuring excellent coating adhesion by preparing a clean, contaminant-free surface. Thorough <strong>surface pretreatment<\/strong> is a key factor in achieving a durable, high-quality finish. Depending on the application, the pretreatment process includes several steps.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Cleaning:<\/strong> Surface cleaning removes dust, grease, oil, rust, dirt and other contaminants using washing systems, chemical cleaning agents or other suitable cleaning methods.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Degreasing &amp; Pickling:<\/strong> Degreasing is particularly important for oily surfaces, as grease significantly reduces coating adhesion. Degreasing agents remove oils and lubricants from the workpiece.
